Nancy Conyers
Founder
Nancy Conyers has been an educational consultant for over eighteen years working individually with students and their parents as well running Essay Writing Camps. Using her experience in admissions at the Wharton School and experience teaching creative writing, Nancy helps students gain entrance into the top boarding schools, universities and graduate schools in the US. Her approach is to work with each applicant to bring out their own true essence in the answers to their essay questions, thereby enabling them to stand out in the admissions process and securing admission to the top schools. Nancy is energetic and loves combining her experience in college admissions and teaching writing. She has perfected the knack of turning what could be a wrought situation into an enjoyable and productive experience. Her classes are always lively.
Nancy did her undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University in Los Angeles. She is currently enrolled in the Novel Writing Program at Stanford University.
Nancy was previously the assistant director of the Wharton Executive MBA Program (WEMBA). In addition to helping to design the WEMBA curriculum, Nancy was involved in admissions and read all applications.
She was the also lead instructor for the Dallas, Texas Writers in the Schools Program (WITS) teaching creative writing workshops to students, and training programs to teachers in the Dallas Independent School District as well as training all WITS instructors.
Nancy has lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Italy, Sweden, and Singapore and fully understands the intricacies of international admissions.
Nancy’s students have gained acceptance to Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Wharton, MIT, Brown, Carnegie Mellon, UCLA, USC, Barnard, Scripps, Dartmouth, Yale, Williams, Claremont McKenna, NYU, and Johns Hopkins among others.

Lily Wang
Co-Founder
Lily Wang is the co-founder of Conyers Jiao Yu, our educational consulting joint venture located in Shanghai, China. Lily was Nancy Conyers’ first Mandarin teacher when Nancy lived in Shanghai and a friendship and business partnership developed from their work together as teacher (Lily) and student (Nancy).
Lily is a graduate of Central-South University in Hunan province, majoring in English literature. She moved to Shanghai after graduation to teach English to Chinese students and teach Mandarin to foreign students. After teaching she was recruited by Pepsico International in Shanghai where she became a top brand-marketing manager.
Her interest and experience in both education and marketing are the perfect combination to direct Conyers Jiao Yu in Shanghai.
